Job Description
CustomerSat is seeking a Web Operations Engineer to design, deploy, manage and administer Windows servers. The desired candidate will perform support of production systems including internal/external systems and email and be responsible for daily monitoring of all servers on the network.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Design, deploy, manage and administer Windows servers.
- Perform support of production systems including internal/external systems and email.
- Responsible for daily monitoring of all servers on the network.
- Monitor and report on system capacity utilization.
- Apply continuous improvement techniques to ensure the system infrastructure attains maximum performance, security and availability.
- Ensure that software licensing laws are adhered to.
- Ensure the security of data from internal & external attack.
- Train new IT support staff peers.
- Monitor compliance with company's information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors and third parties.
- Monitor internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained.
- Manage all servers in an Active Directory environment, ensuring that each server has maximum uptime.
- Troubleshoot problems with web services, mail services and overall aspects of an ASP solution.
- Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and devices.
- Coordinate with development team to schedule release of software updates.
- Perform systems backups and recovery procedures.
- Track and complete all support requests.
- Maintain system documentation and logs.
Qualifications:
- MS/equiv + 3, or BS/equiv + 5, or 7 yrs experience required.
